Bolingbrook High School alum Anna Kopsky was named a finalist in the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System’s 2012 college radio awards contest.

Kopsky, currently a student at Naperville's North Central College and mobile event director and productions assistant at the college's award winning radio station WONC, was able to attend the 72nd Annual IBS International Radio/Webcast Conference in New York City, March 2-4.

IBS is a non-profit organization serving 90 percent of high school and college radio stations. IBS has hosted an international seminar and awards program in New York City for over 70 years.

Kopsky was nominated for Best Public Service Announcement and Best Underwriting Campaign.
