B.J. Ward Students Win Fruit and Vegetable Healthy Snack Program Poster Contest

Three students were selected as winners of the B.J. Ward Fruit and Vegetable Poster Contest held annually to highlight the school's Fruit and Vegetable Healthy Snack Program.
Winners included: Fifth grader Kassandra Rosales’ “Fruits and Veggies vs. Junk” poster as the first place winner, with third grader Yary Mendez finishing second and fifth grader Nahum Sanchez Montenegro placing third.
The theme of this year's contest was “Roaring to Eat Health and Ready to Learn.”
