Jupiter Theory Featured with Resurrection Larry and Jonny J Blair Live One Night Only at Reggie’s Live
Chicago-based progressive rock band Jupiter Theory takes the stage with Resurrection Larry and Johnny J. Blair this Saturday night, July 14th at Reggie’s Live at 2105 S. State Street, Chicago, IL.
Jupiter Theory will be playing tracks off of their recent EP release Jupiter Theory on Ten24 Records (ten24records.com). The brooding rockers are currently working on their first full-length album with Mark Michalik of Drastik Studios (drasikstudios.com), from which they will be debuting several new songs.
Joining Jupiter Theory is Chicago rock band Resurrection Larry who is named in homage to the legendary Chicagoland hitch-hiking spirit Resurrection Mary. Described in the Chicago Tribune as “Pink Floyd vs. Led Zeppelin in a bar fight on Mars”, Resurrection Larry blends complex arrangements with memorable tunes and lyrics to please the most jaded rock fan.
Also playing is Singer-at-Large and recording artist Johnny J. Blair is known for his innovative brand of “pop music with a twist,” a fast-paced mix of old school soul/rhythm and blues, psychedelia, punk/new wave, and a melodicism breathed by classical, gospel, jazz, and world beat.
Doors open at 8PM; Reggie’s Live is located in Chicago’s South Loop at 2105 S. State Street. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. This is a 21 and over show.
