Season of Giving Program Helps Community Donate to Charitable Organizations

The Promenade Bolingbrook’s Season of Giving 2011

The holiday shopping season of 2011 at The Promenade Bolingbrook will offer a special gift to some charitable organizations.

Shoppers who present receipts of items purchased from any retailer, restaurant or theater at the Promenade Bolingbrook dated Dec. 1-24, 2011 to the Guest Services office will earn points for select charitable organizations; one point for every dollar spent and double points for Promenade gift card purchases. The Promenade will then tally the points and reward the top organization/charity with the most points a $1,000 donation.  The remaining organizations/charities will receive gift cards ranging from $25 to $200.  Shoppers can choose from a list of organizations/charities there were chosen by the community through social media outlets and include:

St. Jude Research Hospital

DuPage Township Food Pantry

Bolingbrook Operation Christmas

Kiwanis Club of Bolingbrook & Romeoville

In addition, each organization/charity has an opportunity to reserve a day at The Promenade with an information and promotional table to encourage shoppers  to support their charity.
