The Promenade Bolingbrook Welcomes New Retailers

  • May 17, 2012

New retailers are set to open this spring and summer at The Promenade Bolingbrook.

Things Remembered is scheduled to open its doors Friday, May 25, across the street from Victoria’s Secret. Things Remembered began more than 40 years ago as a small engraving and services shop called “Can Do” and has since grown into the nation’s leading and most successful, retailer of personalized gifts.

Jewelry maker Pandora is schedule to open Friday, June 15, near Macy’s. Pandora designs, manufactures and markets hand-finished and modern jewelry made from genuine materials.

“We are very excited about the addition of our new retailers," said Tom Castagnoli, general manager of The Promenade Bolingbrook. "They will fit in nicely with our current mix and also benefit contestants of The Promenade’s Project Style Contest.”

The Promenade Bolingbrook is a premiere location for Project Style 2012, the award-winning online fashion competition for guys and girls ages 13 and up.

“We’ve teamed up Nick Verreos, popular Project Runway designer and Red Carpet host, and Fashion Star correspondent and host of How Do I Look?, Jeannie Mai to travel the country to help us find the next chic stylist,” said Kris Kuchler, director of marketing at The Promenade.

“From now through August, The Promenade will select two trendsetters for each monthly round, during a four-round contest, to put their sense of style and fashion to the test by creating the ultimate outfit. Welcoming new retailers allows our contestants more opportunities to add and express their individuality to their style choices,” Kuchler said.
