Lockport Township 38, Joliet Central 6: Billy Reed threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as Lockport scored early and often in a 38-6 victory over Joliet Central in a SouthWest Suburban Blue battle Friday night at Lockport. Lincoln-Way East 38, Homewood-Flossmoor 21: Griffins QB Blake Winkler and receiver J.J. Robertson burn the Vikings, who hurt their own cause with five turnovers. In a showdown between two of the Southland's premier high school football teams, Lincoln-Way East had more than enough firepower to hand Homewood-Flossmoor its first loss of the season on homecoming night at H-F.
