Bolingbrook consumers will be able to check out Bolingbrook's home-based businesses in an expo Saturday.
"It's a great opportunity for this set of entrepreneurs to grow their companies," said Mike Evans, president and CEO of the Bolingbrook Area Chamber of Commerce.
Some businesses in the expo will include traditional home-based businesses like Mary Kay and Arbonne but also photographers, website designers, home decorators, interior design companies and accountants, Evans said.
"There's a whole wealth of business that's out there in the community," Evans said. "The next million-dollar idea could be the guy living next to you."
The expo is free to the public. There will be free food from restaurant sponsors, a face painter, a balloon artist and other family entertainment.
Ashley Furniture will also have specials on its products.
Pure Plumbing will raffle off a free Kohler toilet with installation, a $400 value.
