Motorcyclist Killed in Bolingbrook Car Accident, Two Sent to the Hospital
A car accident involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Beaconridge Drive and Route 53 killed one and sent two others to the hospital Friday afternoon.
A man driving a motorcycle died Friday after being hit by a car at a Bolingbrook intersection, police say.
Paul Lee Robinson III, 38, of Bolingbrook, died at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital within an hour of being struck by a car at the intersection of Beaconridge Drive and Route 53 shortly after 3 p.m.
According to police, a gray Saturn was turning left onto Beaconridge Drive when it hit a motorcycle traveling northbound on Route 53. The car was sent into the median of the Beaconridge neighborhood entrance while the motorcycle skid into the middle of the intersection. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and received CPR before being transported to the hospital, witnesses said.
Two others, both in the Saturn, were sent to the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this point., but Lt. Mike Rompa said their injuries were not life threatening.
The Saturn's passenger was trapped inside the car and had to be removed by police, Rompa said.
The accident is under investigation, Rompa said.

who were the two sent to the hospital? they dont mention that part.

Carissa, this happened way back in October, but if memory serves me correct, they did not release the names of the two sent to the hospital and their injuries were relatively minor.
