Former Student Enters Bolingbrook HS with 'What Resembled a Handgun': Valley View
The incident is under investigation by the Bolingbrook Police Department.
A former student entered Bolingbrook High School Tuesday with what "Bolingbrook Police believe resembled a handgun," Valley View School District 365U reported on its Facebook page Wednesday.
The incident took place after student dismissal on Tuesday. The individual is in custody and the incident is under investigation.
"We continue to work with our local law enforcement officials to ensure the safety of all students and staff," the message from Valley View Superintendent James Mitchem said.
"This incident serves as another reminder that all security measures must be taken very seriously."

"resembled a handgun" either it was or it was not. I am waiting for any updates. "Custody" why would they do this if it was not a gun? Previous record maybe.
