Ghiradelli Chocolate to Move Into Bolingbrook This Spring
Ghiradelli Chocolate plans to move into part of a corporate office building at 1150 W. 115th St.
Bolingbrook is about to get a little sweeter, as Ghirardelli Chocolate plans to move into part of a corporate office building at 1150 W. 115th St.
“The latest we heard was that they would start by relocating office personnel this spring,” Bolingbrook Village Attorney Jim Boan said.
Ghirardelli will occupy 269,500 square feet of the 450,000-square-foot building.
Currently, the company is in the process of adding more refrigeration units to the distribution space. About 15,000 square feet will be used to process retail Internet sales.
While initially there was some discussion about having a retail store at the location, Boan said the latest plan does not include a walk-in outlet.

Once again Bolingbrook shines and wins out over other areas. Kudos to everyone involved in making this happen.

Great job to Mayor Claar and the village for helping make this happen. The article does not say how many jobs this will add to the village. That is something I would like to know.

No!!!! No walk-in retail outlet? Good thing there's Fannie May close by. Seriously, the more chocolate, the better. Welcome to the hood, Ghirardelli !
