Twenty-one car thefts were reported in January to the Bolingbrook Police Department.
Ten took place between Jan. 24-30. Three more were reported during the overnight hours between Jan. 14-15.
All the reported thefts are mapped above. The address given is the block the theft reportedly occurred, not the exact address.

If 21 cars were stolen in such a short time, did the police give more details? Were the cars left running to warm up?

I realize the headline was confusing. There were 21 thefts from cars, not cars being stolen.

Then article itself is wrong. It says "Twenty-one car thefts"..."were reported in January to the Bolingbrook Police Department." That to me, sounds like the cars were stolen, not broken into.
