Your suggestion about opening a massage parlor is a good idea. Massages are nice and relaxing and we already have a few spa places in town that provide massages but we could use more. Maybe a good massage will take care of that shaky shaky problem you referred to above.

I've come to the realization over the years, an this conversation just reenforces my belief, that no matter who the leadership team is, and no matter what they decide to do to raise revenue, that someone or some group will always oppose it. Certain people will oppose anything because they are pessimist in every sense of he word. I can't think of one program, event, etc that takes place here in Bolingbrook that has 100% support. The key is at least our current group of leaders are trying to make this village a great place to live in the best way they know how. Most of the complainers just sit on their xxx behinds and do not get involved or do things that would improve the quality of life in our community.

I agree with you Kristie. Sounds like the potential candidates are running scared so they want to deprive other people, including our Seniors a little fun in their life. Maybe if they had some fun of their own they wouldn't be so bitter.

From the Mayor's comment that he might felt differently 15 yrs ago. Does that mean he will continue to look for revenue in more repugnant places in the future? Maybe it shows that his values will continue to decline with age. I don't believe that having more gambling in Bolingbrook is any kind of enhancement. For $200,000 the mayor and the board could look for the elimination of waste in government.
