Police: $10,000 in Cash Stolen from Bolingbrook Bedroom
Two car thefts on the same block and car, liquor, skateboards, lifeguard belt and more stolen in Bolingbrook from June 13-21.

June 21
Two skateboards, GPS unit, pair of sunglasses and lifeguard belt stolen from car
Two skateboards, a GPS unit, a pair of sunglasses and a life guard belt were taken from a car parked on the 100 block of Periwinkle Lane at 6 a.m., Bolingbrook police said. The loss was valued at $550.
Purse, backpack, tools stolen from car
A purse, backpack and miscellaneous tools were stolen from a car on the 100 block of Periwinkle Lane at 6 a.m., police said. The loss was valued at $250.
Theft from Meijer
Elsa Ezzo, 25, 213 3rd St. in Riverton, was arrested and charged with retail theft from a previous incident at Meijer, 225 N. Weber Rd., on June 16, police said.
Car stolen
A 1992 white Chevrolet Carryall was stolen from a driveway on the 500 block of Thomas Road between June 20 and 21, police said.
In-state warrant
Emerson Harris, 23, 301 S. Grand Ave., Minneapolis, MN, was arrested at 11:17 p.m. and charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of S. Schmidt Road, at 11:17 p.m., police said.
Violation of order of protection
Kevin Martinez, 41, 302 Woodcreek Dr. was arrested at 7:31 p.m. and charged with a violation of order of protection, police said.
June 20
Two bottles of liquor, two packs of cigarettes stolen
Someone selected two bottles of liquor and two packs of cigarettes and exited Stop Liquors 24, 596 N. Pinecrest Rd., at 12:24 p.m. without paying. The loss was valued at $70.
June 19
Lawn statue stolen
A lawn statue was stolen from the front yard of a residence in the 800 block of Bellflower Lane between June 17 and 19, police said.
Portable pump stolen
A portable pump was stolen from the front yard of a residence on the 800 block of Bellflower Lane between June 18 and 19, police said. The loss was valued at $80.
June 17
Sale of liquor to minor, resisting a peace officer
Dimitri Staley, 50, 237 Northridge Ave., was arrested at 6:09 p.m. and charged with sale of liquor to minor and resisting a peace officer in the 100 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive, police said.
June 16
$10,000 taken from bedroom
About $10,000 in cash was taken from a bedroom between June 8 and 16 in the 100 block of Grove Court, police said.
June 13
Possession of stolen property
Steven McClain, 22, 263 Blackberry Dr., was arrested at 1:23 p.m. and charged with possession of stolen property, police said.

People who have $10k in cash? They're called 'drug dealers'.
Also funny that at 1992 Suburban is called a Carryall (they stopped calling them that in the 60's)-must have been an old cop reporting the theft.
