I believe a BETTER idea would be to eliminate Ross's over-paid position and out-source the policeRead Morede partment to the Dupage County Sheriff or Naperville PD, both of whom have better enforcement records than BPD! Then take BFD and out-source them to Darien-Woodridge! Come to think of it, it would save ALL of us MORE money to annex Bolingbrook to Naperville and do away with Bolingbrook! Hmmm, that sounds better!

Perhaps they should also consider annexing everything east of Rt. 53 to Woodridge and everythingRead Morewes t to Naperville. OH, so MANY options, so little time!!

You almost had me until you said you want vehicle stickers reinstated. Good grief! We're alreadyRead Moreo verburdened by paying more every year in health insurance premiums, taxes, and utility bills!!! I'm all for leaving the 911 service as it is, but if the purpose is to generate money to keep it from being outsourced, then FIRST look for ways to cut spending , starting with the salaries of those at the top.

I see a lot of newsworthy things going on in our town and wonder why you never read about it here. Read MoreThe other day I saw a news helicopter overhead remaining in one spot and it appeared it was covering an accident on I-55, but I saw nothing on the Chicago news or on Patch. Later that day, the two tragic accidents south of Joliet happened, so there must have been at least 3 that day, but one went unreported. It'd be nice to know what happened, especially when you often hear many sirens blaring and see emergency vehicles heading somewhere. Readers like to know what's going on in and around their town and be informed of true "breaking news."

If this was a REAL newsource, perhaps. However, since the departure of Brian Feldt, this site hasRead Moreb ecome just another blog site. At least Brian made an effort to be "Late Breaking" in his news delivery! Plus you've got to remember, this is a Huffington Post appendage owned by AOHELL! "Nuff" said!
