Beat the Fitness Rush & Support the Bolingbrook Cheerleaders

Are you waiting for an excuse to get fit before the annual New Year’s resolution kick picks up a real head of steam?

Well, then, here is one: The Bolingbrook High School cheerleading team is offering community members the opportunity to get fit and help the team at the same time, according to a Valley View School District news release.

The cheerleaders are sponsoring Zumba classes during December at Brooks Middle School, 350 Kinnikin Lane. The $5 per class cost will go directly to the cheerleading team. And the classes—from 6 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 5, 12 and 19—will be taught be a certified Zumba instructor.

FOUNTAINDALE LIBRARY CLOSINGS: The Fountaindale Public Library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road, will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29. The library will re-open on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 9 a.m.
