Donate Coats, Play Golf, Weed Your Garden & Eat Yogurt

Yep, it's all in a day's work. And that day is Tuesday, Sept. 10.

1. Coat Drive for Morningstar Mission: Beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 10), drop off coats of any size (men, women, boys and girls) at any one of these four locations: Romeoville library (Normantown Road), Romeoville Chamber (10 Montrose Drive, Romeoville), Joliet library (Black Road), Just Toni's, 2301 W. Jefferson St., Joliet.

2. Romeoville Chamber Golf Outing: Registration is at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 10), start time is noon for the Romeoville Area Chamber of Commerce's 6th Annual Golf Outing presented by Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital. The outing will be at Mistwood Golf Club, 1700 W. Renwick, Romeoville. Cost is $125 for an individual golfer, $500 for a foursome and includes green fees, cart, lunch, dinner and giveaways. 3. Weeding Your Personal Garden: Martha Kern, a published author and chief marketing officer for Lifecare Innovations, will discuss ways to thin out your personal property and help you move from cluttered to tiddy. The program—free and open to the public—runs from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 10) at Senior Star at Weber Place, 605 S. Edward Drive, Romeoville.

4. Mooseheart TCBY Fundraiser: Fifteen percent of your purchase total goes directly to children at Mooseheart for educational advancement during an all-day fundraiser Tuesday (Sept. 10) at TCBY-Shorewood, located at Route 59 and Black Road (next to Dominick's). Just mention "Mooseheart." The fundraiser is sponsored by Lockport Women of the Moose #575.
