Thirteen is Tibbott Elementary School’s lucky number. Has to be.

The annual Tibbott Elementary School Barnes & Noble Book Fair is Friday, Dec. 13, at The Promenade Bolingbrook store, according to a Valley View School District news release.

The event—which runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m.—will include gift wrapping by Tibbott staff, free bookmark crafting and gourmet cupcake decorating for a small fee. Also, Erin The Elf will be on hand serving food at the Barnes & Noble Cafe and leading storytime at 8 p.m.

Karen Colburn, retired teacher and choir director, will lead a holiday sing-along from 7 to 7:30 p.m. And students who attend will earn a special Tiger Paw.

Those who cannot make the event still can help Tibbott Elementary School meet its fundraising goal by shopping online at BN.COM/bookfairs from Dec. 12-18. Click on “start shopping now” and enter the bookfair ID# at checkout: 11229283.
