Bat 'Mysteries' Revealed at Forest Preserve Program

The event, which includes a hike and lots of information on how bats survive, will be held Sept. 7 at the Sugar Creek Administration Center in Joliet.

The Forest Preserve District of Will County provided this news release on its upcoming program on bats:

“Mysteries of the Bat: Revealed!,” a free, all-ages family program, will be Saturday, September 7, 6:00 p.m., at the Sugar Creek Administration Center, in Joliet. Registration is required for this Forest Preserve District of Will County program.

Explore the secret, unique world of bats, learn the obstacles they must overcome for survival and discover ways you can help them along the way. Build a bat house of your own, then join us for a short hike to meet some of our wondrous backyard bats.

This program will include hiking preserve trails over uneven terrain.
