Bolingbrook Workers Pitch in to Help Valley View Schools

Employees at RR Donnelley recently donated much-needed items to three Valley View schools.

Three Valley View Schools recently were on the receiving end of one local company’s “acts of kindness.”

According to the school district’s website, Employees at RR Donnelley’s Bolingbrook facility recently began a 26 Acts of Kindness campaign in honor of the 26 students and teachers who were killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings.

Brooks Middle School, Tibbott Elementary School and Bolingbrook High School were selected to receive donations from the company, and the company went about finding out what the schools needed.

A variety of items were donated to each school, including school supplies, playground equipment and gas cards.
