Rain, Snow in the Forecast for Monday: National Weather Service

Expect some accumulation this afternoon/evening, followed by temperatures in the low 20s.

Wet, wintry weather is likely headed for Will County, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS is predicting rain for Monday afternoon that will be turning into to snow as temperatures drop sometime after 4 p.m. Snow accumulation is expected to be about half an inch. The wind will be at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts of 25 mph.

The snow should taper off sometime after 7 p.m., and the overnight low is predicted to be 23. Tuesday will be clear but the high will only be 32, a big change from Monday's 46.
