“I am grateful for the sacrifices our veterans have made to defend our freedom and prosperity. We owe these heroes a great deal -- it is our solemn responsibility to ensure that all veterans receive the care and respect they have earned.”

The Honor Flight of Chicago is a non-profit organization that sends veterans from the Chicagoland area to spend a day touring Washington, D.C. and visiting the memorials that were built to honor them and their fallen comrades. The trip is often these veterans’ first visit to our nation’s capital.  For more information visit http://honorflightchicago.org/.
