Whiz Kid: BHS Student Helps Ensure Safety of Bolingbrook Youngsters

This week's Whiz Kid created a program that recorded the fingerprints of more than 200 young children in the area. Those prints could be used if there were to ever become missing.

Each week, Bolingbrook Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments.

  • Key to Awesomeness: Years of dedicated service to scouting culiminating in his Eagle Scout project, which was creating ID cards for more than 200 Bolingbrook children. The ID cards would go to help the kids' parents if their child ever went missing.

Thanks to a partnership with Nancy's Pizza, each Weekly Whiz Kid will receive a certificate good for for one free slice of pizza at the restaurant's  or  location.
