“Our strategic planning process has been based on including community involvement from the beginning through focus groups and our survey,” Mills said. “Our public comment period is meant to provide our community an additional opportunity to review what we plan to do for the next several years and offer us their thoughts and ideas on it.”

“The strategic planning committee will get back together in December to review the comments and improve the plan based on the feedback received,” Mills said. “The plan will go the Board of Trustees in December to review, and I anticipate that the Board would approve the plan in January 2014. Implementation would then begin after Board approval.”
