5 Things to Know About Memorial Day Weekend

1. Bolingbrook Grey Core Annual Memorial Day Weekend Carnival

Come celebrate the 20th anniversary of this great event, which features rides, carnival games, food and friends, an runs through Monday evening. You can buy ride wristbands for just $20. The carnival is open from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. today through Sunday, and on Monday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

2. Boardman Cemetery Service and Public Tours

Head on over to , a historic DuPage Township burying ground that will be . Members of the Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commission will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the cemetery’s history. There will also be a memorial service at the cemetery at 9 a.m., led by the Bolingbrook V.F.W and the American Legion.

5. St. Francis 7th Annual Flea Market and Craft Fair

Looking to get some bargain shopping done this weekend? If so, be sure to check out annual flea market and craft fair, held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair will be held at the church, located at 1501 W. Boughton Rd.
