Clow's Flightfest to Benefit Make-A-Wish Kids

Clow International Airport's Flightfest will be held Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the airport. All proceeds will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.

You've seen concerts on the hill of the Bolingbrook Performing Arts Center. You've caught a few shows at The Promenade.

But have you ever seen a band at Clow International Airport? With antique airplanes lighting the stage?

Now's your chance as Bolingbrook's one and only airport sets to kickoff Flightfest on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets cost $25 per person and includes an Octoberfest meal and live music all day.

Even better, all procedes will be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois, the organization that grants wishes to children facing life-threatening illnesses.

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking HERE or by visiting the main lobby of the airport, Charlies Restaurant, the Illinois Aviation Museum, through a  member of the committee or at the gate on the day of the event. 

On top of the meal and music, beer and wine will also be sold, multiple fire pits will be offered to beat the cold, covered tents and chairs will be provided and the museum will be open for those that wish to take a tour. Airplanes will also be on display. 

Organizers hope to raise as much as $10,000 for the Make-A-Wish organization.

The live music includes Scramble and Rendition.
