American Legion Post 1288 Hosts the Blind Veterans from Hines Hospital for a BBQ & a Village Concert

The Bolingbrook American Legion Post 1288 has invited the blind veterans in rehab at Hines Hospital to come to the Bolingbrook Village hall for a barbecue on Wed., Aug. 17th.  The veterans will also enjoy the weekly Village concert, starring the 101st Rock Division. a great band that travels the world entertaining troops, firefighters, and other service groups.  Come by and say hi (and thanks) to the veterans.  If you'd like to volunteer with helping the veterans, please contact Rosemary Wood, Post Volunteer Coordinator, at 630-226-0243 or rbwood54@yahoo.com
