3-day conference where folk and acoustic music professionals gather to meet, talk, learn, listen, promote, pay tribute, celebrate, sing, dance and make music.

A weekend of music and workshops for folk and acoustic music professionals and fans Chicago area and Midwest music fans can experience three evenings of great music via the affordable ‘Taste of FARM’

Founded in 1991, FARM is a regional chapter of the Folk Alliance International (http://folk.org) representing the diverse faces of the Midwest Folk community and beyond. It is our goal to promote the growth of folk music and dance in the Midwest by doing all we can to foster a sense of community among our members.

 Over 100 folk and acoustic artists from around North America will perform.

Folk and acoustic music professionals, agents, venue operators, and fans will attend.
The venerable Michael P. “The Dutchman” Smith will present the Key Note Address at 7:00 pm Friday.
Full conference includes daytime workshops and night-time showcases.
Official Showcases are a big part of FARM (although music will run continuously all evening, every evening – see exact times below).  This year’s official showcase performances will be from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm Friday and Saturday night, and feature:

Access to all music performances on any single evening = $15

Access to all music performances all weekend (3 nights) = $40
Thursday Sept. 22, music from 7:30 pm to 2:00 am
Friday Sept. 23, music from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am
Saturday Sept. 24, music from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am
Attend all conference workshops, plus all music performances = $90
