Practical Schooling: How Do You Take Notes?

On Curriculum Night at Brooks Middle School, one student showed she can make do in almost any situation.

In the Valley View School District, students are learning a number of valuable life skills.

One is how to take notes.

Some use a pen or pencil and a piece of paper. Others make mental notes. Still, others store information on cell phones and notepads.
