Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital to Off Educational Programs, Screenings

Many of the programs are free of charge.

Have your knee problem or injury assessed by orthopedic surgeon Dr. John Lee and physical therapists and take home an exercise program and tips on managing common knee problems at this free knee screening.

The event will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the Adventist Plainfield Imaging & Outpatient Center, 15720 Route 59, Plainfield.

Will County Health Department Freedom from Smoking...

The Will County Health Department proudly offers area residents top quality, evidence-based programs addressing tobacco dependence, The Freedom From Smoking program provides participants with continual group support while helping smokers to develop skills to manage stress, control weight, and fight the smoking urges.

Freedom From Smoking participants attend a 90-minute class once a week for seven weeks and have the option to receive up to six weeks of the nicotine patch or lozenge free of charge.

The cost of the program is $25 per person, which covers the cost of program materials. The program is from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from Oct. 25 to Dec. 6 at .
