Bolingbrook's ATI Physical Therapy Ranks Among Chicago Tribune's Top Workplaces

One Bolingbrook company has been named in the Chicago Tribune's annual list of top 100 workplaces in the Chicago area.

ATI Physical Therapy was ranked fourth of the 25 large-size companies recognized. ATI was founded in 1996 and has 85 Illinois locations. The company employs 1,154 employees locally and 2,070 in the country, according to the Tribune.

ATI was also recognized as a top workplace in 2010 and 2011.  

The winners of the Tribune's 2012 Top Workplaces were determined by surveying employees at Chicago-area companies about their overall job experience.

What ATI employees said about the company:

• “I feel I can grow personally and professionally. I love that we focus on our mission and core values daily.”

A total of 1,629 companies were invited to participate. Of those, 254 companies completed the survey, allowing the Tribune to determine the top 100 companies in three categories: small (fewer than 250 employees), mid-size (250-999 employees) and large (1,000 or more employees).

According to the Chicago Tribune, the surveyed companies employ 171,463 people in the Chicago area, of which 121,128 received surveys and 80,519 responded.
