bd's Mongolian Grill was one St. Baldrick's team to participate. bd's raised $6,150 with a team of 16. Fourteen people shaved their heads.

Kenny Leetch, regional training general manager for bd's Mongolian Grill, said the restaurant first participated in the event for marketing purposes.

But once they learned more about St. Baldrick's, things changed.

"When you hear from some of the sponsored children and moms and dads, there's not a dry eye in the room," Leetch said. "It's starts resonating in you. It's a very cool cause."
