Gordon Biersch - Brewmaster's Dinner - May 24, 2012

Gordon Biersch at The Promenade Bolingbrook will host a special Brewer's Dinner in honor of Craft Beer Week. Chef Simon Sulaica and his staff have created a special five-course meal that will be perfectly paired and served with Gordon Biersch’s delicious hand-crafted German lagers.  Master Brewer, John Wyzkiewicz, will be on hand to dine with guests and explain how the beers pair with the courses. Guests will have an exclusive tour of the Brewhouse and every guest will receive a Stein Club stein to take home.  In addition, all guests will be entered into a raffle for a 2L German Boot just like the one Gordon Biersch uses at tapping parties and special events - A rare and special prize to be sure!

Situated in the heart of The Promenade Bolingbrook, Gordon Biersch Brewery and Restaurant is a free standing brewery restaurant, featuring main and private dining options, offering fresh, handcrafted beer and premium, made-from-scratch food...all served up in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

Gordon Biersch only brews with the highest quality, traditional ingredients imported from Germany, including barley and wheat from the 130 year-old family owned Weyermann Malting in Bamberg, noble Hersbrucker hops and Weinstephan yeast. Gordon Biersch’s heritage of superior quality harkens back nearly 500 years to the introduction of Reinheitsgebot – the German “Purity Law.”

Although originally intended to maintain quality brewing practices, Gordon Biersch’s tradition of using only the freshest, purest ingredients governs every aspect of the Gordon Biersch experience. Gordon Biersch proudly adheres to this code of quality not only in their award-winning handcrafted beers, but in every plate of food on their tables and encourages their guests to experience the flavor – taste the heritage.
