Five Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital Doctors Among 'Chicago's Best'

Five doctors who treat patients at  made the list of “Chicago’s Top Doctors,” featured in the January 2012 issue of Chicago Magazine.

The list includes:

• Dr. Bryan Foy, thoracic surgery, specializing in heart transplants, ventricular assist device (VAD): Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital
• Dr. Neeraj Jain, pain medicine, specializing in back and neck pain, RSD, shingles and post-herpetic neuralgia pain: Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital and Adventist Hinsdale Hospital
• Dr. Luke Sewall, vascular and interventional radiology, specializing in endovascular stent grafts, peripheral vascular disease, Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, Adventist GlenOaks Hospital, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital
• Dr. Steven Smith, vascular and interventional radiology, specializing in peripheral angioplasty, uterine fibroid embolization, varicocele embolization, arteriovenous malformations: Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, Adventist GlenOaks Hospital, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital
• Dr. Edgar Carell, interventional cardiology, specializing in peripheral vascular disease, hypertension, vascular medicine, Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital

The list, prepared for the magazine by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., includes almost 500 Chicago-area doctors, broken down by 60 specialties. Using a rigorous screening process, Castle Connolly’s physician-led team of researchers surveyed physicians and medical leaders at top local hospitals to find highly skilled, exceptional doctors. Doctors do not and cannot pay to be selected and profiled.
