The library recently released this Youtube video for its upcoming Studio 300. Fountaindale will also hold four sessions to introduce the lab to patrons in January and February. The program will discuss tools and training Studio 300 will offer, including how to:
- Shoot and edit video
- Record and edit sound
- Compose, record, and mix music
- Draw, color, and animate images
- Take, restore, and enhance pictures
- Write, edit, and publish an e-book
- Collaborate with people in other locations
There will also be a virtual tour of the space.
Studio 300 will include six sound recording studios and two video recording studios. There will be three group collaboration rooms, video conferencing capabilities and a computer center with Mac's and PC's equipped with photo, audio and video editing software. The space will be 7,000 square feet total.
Don't know how to use editing software? Staff will be on hand to help.
Four Studio 300 intro sessions will be available on two different dates: Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Feb. 26 at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Limited space is available, so register early. Registration for the Jan. 22 sessions are open on Jan. 1. Registration for the Feb. 26 sessions opens on February 5.
