Truck Driver Charged In I-55 Crash That Killed 4

J Rae Boutique to Close Its Doors June 16

Discounts will be offered on all remaining inventory.

It all started with a love for the sparkly things in life.

Janelle Zenner inherited her grandmother’s love for bling and a few short years after graduating with a Fashion Marketing Degree from Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago she invested in a jewelry fundraiser business, Charlotte Then and Now, with her husband, Joshua.

Their fundraising business offers quality affordable accessories at wholesale to large organizations such as hospitals, schools, and woman’s groups for fundraising purposes as well as home shows and “Ladies night out.”

After years of successfully building the fundraising business, the Zenners opened at and also created a website, www.jraeaccessories.com, to offer their clients a place to shop for quality affordable accessories at their convenience. Shortly after opening, J Rae Boutique rapidly gained rave reviews throughout the community and in due course won Best of Bolingbrook Business and West Suburban Living Magazine’s “Best New Retail” awards.

The Zenners took pride in developing a unique boutique that bridged the gap between costume and high-end jewelry. However, the couple has decided to end their stint as boutique owners to make time for their growing family and make their fundraiser entity the focal point of their business.

"We are very thankful for all the support we have received from the Bolingbrook business community and our customers," they said in a press release. "Customers can be assured that we will let them know where our public displays are going to be so they can continue to enjoy our products."

J Rae Boutique, 627 E. Boughton Rd. Ste. 115, will officially close its doors at 9 p.m. June 16, and will offer dynamic discounts on all remaining inventory.

J Rae Boutique features natural stone with Swarovski crystal jewelry, a plethora selection of unique sterling silver pieces, evening bags, purses, as well as one of a kind wearable art. In addition, they have a candle line, hand moisturizers, and a dynamic collection of fashionable hats.

The store will remain open seven days a week until June 16.

I wish them the best of luck. It's unfortunate that they were not able to make a go of it, but the economy is not kind to anyone these days.
