Low-Price Grocer ALDI Bringing 100 Jobs to Chicago Region
To apply for work at stores in the Western suburbs, plan on attending the Jan. 20 event at the Marriott in Naperville.

ALDI, which bills itself as the nation's low-price grocery leader, has 100 positions to fill in the Chicago area. And to accomplish that task, ALDI is staging a hiring event from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20, and is setting up shop at several city and suburban locations, according to a news release issued by assistant account executive Maggie Byrne.
For stores in the Western suburbs, ALDI representatives will meet with local residents seeking employment opportunities at the Marriott, 1801 Naper Blvd., Naperville, IL, 60563.
Positions Available: Store Associates, $13 per hour; Shift Managers, $13 per hour (plus additional $4 per hour when performing manager duties).
Job Requirements: Must be 18 years or older to apply; high school diploma or GED, must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.; retail experience preferred; drug screening and background check; ability to lift 45 pounds.
Health & Benefits: Part-time staff working at least 20 hours a week receive full health insurance, dental coverage and 401K.
