Munch Madness Elite 8: B-Dubs Edges Out Gordon Biersch, Portillo's Dominates

You've heard of March Madness, right? Well, this is Munch Madness—Bolingbrook Patch's attempt to find the best restaurant in all of the village.

Eyed as a heavy favorite entering the Munch Madness tournament, was ousted from the field Thursday after fans made their voices heard.

was one of eight teams to advance to Bolingbrook Patch's first-ever Munch Madness Elite Eight. Gordon Biersch's fans made their presence known on Facebook, edging BWW by two votes, but the famous wings joint captured more than enough votes on Bolingbrook Patch's website to secure the win.

Meanwhile, has established themselves as the heavy favorite entering the Elite Eight. Portillo's beat up on , winning 40-1. Portillo's 40-vote mark was the highest vote total of the round and two shy of the tournament record set by in the first round (43 votes).
