New Circle K On the Way at Busy Intersection

New Circle K will open at 101 E. Boughton Rd.

A new gas station and convenience store has been made official for the Boughton Road-Route 53 intersection thanks to action taken by the village board Tuesday evening.

The board approved a special use permit for the gas station, which will operate at 101 E. Boughton Rd.

Construction on the project is expected to begin in March and be compelted within two to three months of breaking ground.

The new station will inclde 12 fueling pumps and operate a 3,907 square-foot convenience store that would be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Access to the station would be from two points, according to village documents—one off Boughton Road and another off Route 53.

The village board voted unanimously in favor of the project.

The Circle K will have no affiliation with the station loated across the street.
