The new restaurant is located at 282 S. Weber Rd., at the intersection of Lily Cache Lane and S. Weber Road.

The Bolingbrook Penn Station location is owned by Naperville resident Julie Beckett, who signed a multi-unit agreement to develop five Penn Station restaurants in the southwestern suburbs over the next three years, according to a release.

“We are so excited to bring Penn Station to Bolingbrook and help grow this brand in the Chicago suburbs,” Beckett said in the release.

“Penn Station has a unique menu full of fresh, flavorful products, and the franchising model is transparent, stable, and incredibly investor-friendly. We know this is going to be a great fit for the community.”

Penn Station is an "upscale, fast-casual restaurant" that serves a variety of hot and cold subs, as well as fresh, hand-cut, made-to-order French fries, hand-squeezed lemonade made several times daily and chocolate chunk cookies baked fresh in the restaurant.

Penn Station only has 11 locations in Illinois. The closest to Bolingbrook is in Lombard at 801 E. Butterfield Rd. Other locations are in Gurnee and Grayslake.
