The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, at Maple Park Place, 257 N. Weber Road.
Saturday also marks the opening of a new location in Calumet City, which brings the total number of Ross stores in the greater Chicago area to 14, following the company’s entry into the market in October 2011, said company spokeswoman Brittany Mohr.
The discount clothing retailer is taking over the space in Bolingbrook that has sat empty since Jo-Ann Fabric closed its doors about two years ago.

Additionally, each store will give away $1,000 in Ross Dress for Less gift cards. Through Sunday, March 11, customers can enter in store for a chance to win a $500 shopping spree or one of five $100 shopping sprees.
Store hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
