Second Oberweis Dairy Coming To Bolingbrook
A new location is slated to open this year on Boughton Road.
Good news for ice cream lovers in Bolingbrook: The village board on Tuesday approved a second Oberweis Dairy & Ice Cream location.
The store, which sells ice cream and dairy products, will open at 860 E. Boughton in the Boughton Woodward Commercial Center near Costco.
The ice cream chain is owned by state Sen. Jim Oberweis, R- North Aurora, who is running in the Rebpulican primary for U.S. Senate.
The existing Bolingbrook Oberweis location is at 230 Weber Road near Nancy's Pizza and Jersey Mike's subs.
