The Braces Are On and Summer is in Full Swing!

The braces are on, it was a process over many weeks and still not quite complete.  Who knew things were so much different from "back in the day".  I seem to remember getting them all on at once, top and bottom, wires and all.  Now it was a process, first the top brackets (no wires), then the bottom brackets and headgear, then the bottom wire (two weeks later).  Still no top wire, not sure when that will come into play.  But for now, she is getting used to what she has. 

Summer has been flying by way too fast for us!  Can not even believe the stores are already stocking school supplies!  Both of my girls groaned at the sight at Target this week!  They walk past the displays with their hands by their eyes saying, "I will not look, I will not look!"  It is hard to believe they have been out of school for over a month and soon we will be saying, "A month until they go back"!  YIKES!  Where are the days going? 

We have been trying to keep cool in this heat wave we are calling summer, as I am sure most of you have.  Spending time in the pool and getting together with friends!  I hope everyone is enjoying their long summer days and getting in some vacation time.
