I remember when my kids were born and everyone said, "They grow up too fast!"
Today was the last day of Spring Break and the girls are headed back to school tomorrow! Of course they are not looking forward to going back. However, tonight they reminded each other that there are only 35 more school days (yes they counted) left for this year. Wait, what? Only 35 days left! When did this happen?
My "baby" will be in middle school come August! Yikes! Now she has to go and remind me that she will officially be a sixth grader in 35 days. I am going to have to find a way to keep her back. Maybe I can persuade the teacher to just keep her in fifth grade a few more years! I am sure he has heard at least one mom make the request....maybe he will be willing to help this mom keep her baby from growing up.
Surely this does not mean I am getting...OLD, does it?
