Winding down!

Summer vacation is almost here and I am looking forward to all the fun things we have planned!

It is so hard to believe that it has been almost a month since I have been on here! Things are finally starting to calm down around here! There are just five days of school, plus that measly bit on Monday and then it's over! I have to say I am happy to welcome summer break this year, although I usually am ready for it every year!

How do you feel about summer break? I look forward to sleeping in (even just a littel), relaxing by the pool, and enjoying longer and lazier days with the kids!  The kids look forward to having some time off and getting to take some fun classes at the park district. They love getting together with their friends, especially those who have moved (even if not that far) and we don't see as much during the school year.

We will be starting braces this summer for my oldest, and yes, I did schedule it for the VERY FIRST day of summer break!! Figured she may as well get up early while she is still in the habit! Not sure her sister is going to be happy about that! I guess she better get some corn-on-the-cob eating in this weekend!!

I would love to hear your plans for summer break!

I can't imagine what a customer could do that would cause a cashier to yell at them. Can you expandRead More a little on the situation? I shop there often but generally use the self-scan. There is one cashier that works that area that can be quite rude. It took me a minute to get my ID out and she went off on me. Sorry I wasn't as prepared as I should be but it isn't often that a 45+ woman is asked for ID.
