1. Hundreds of Vintage Action Figures on Sale This Weekend

A Bolingbrook woman is selling her 10-year old collection of action figures—new in package and in mint condition. Items include figures from Star Wars, Batman, Masters of the Universe, Justice League, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Marvel and DC super hero figures, G.I. Joe. Hundreds of comic books (from 1960's - 1990's), Hot Wheels​​​​, Johnny Lightning, & Matchbox cars, Atari 2600 and 39 video games are also available.  

The sale is being held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this weekend at 1100 Jennifer Lane in Bolingbrook, one block southeast of the Weber Road and Boughton Road intersection in Brookwood Estates.

2. ATI Foundation Raises Record Amount in Run, Walk and Roll Event

From an ATI announcement on Bolingbrook Patch: "Wow! Thank you to everyone who helped raise $52,100 at the ATI Foundation 5K Run, Walk & Roll on Sunday. That's another record! Proceeds will help improve the lives of children with physical impairments.The foundation is currently working with several beneficiaries in the communities where ATI employees and patients live, work and serve. Family Quick Care is offering affordable and convenient healthcare for folks at the located at 755 E. Boughton Rd.

Family Quick Care's goal is to provide the best service for only the most common acute illnesses and is not designed to replace a family doctor or to treat all medical conditions.

The group specializes in treating 90 percent of the most common acute illnesses so that they can offer the most efficient and affordable medical attention.

Visitors must pay $39 for the services. School and IHSA Sports physicals cost $30 with a coupon. The center is open seven days a week and only walk in appointments are accepted.
