1. New Magazine Coming to Bolingbrook

A new community resource magazine will be mailed to all homes and businesses in town starting in a couple of months. Look for it in your mailbox.

2. Learn About the Science of Candy

This weekend's Saturday Special is the Super Science Lab: Scrumptious Science. The event will be open to kids in kindergarten to fifth grade. Kindergartners must be accompanied by a parent.

The program will allow students to learn about the science of candy.

Those interested in attending should contact the library to register before the event.

5. 27th Annual Village Picnic

Enjoy a village picnic behind Bolingbrook's Town Center.

Food will be available for purchase. There will be a climbing wall, petting zoo, free hotdogs, bingo, hot dog eating contest, amateur art and photography show, and fun fair games.

Also, there will be paddleboats, fishing derby, sea of balls and senior tent.
