1. Mobster Murder Mystery and Dinner Event

Join us Saturday, Oct. 1 from 6-9 p.m. for a 1920's gangsterland murder mystery. Enjoy an evening of excitement as mayhem ensues after the mysterious death of one of the "family." A five-course dinner will be served during the three acts. Enjoy this dinner and show for just $40 per person. Reserved and limited seating available. Call 630-783-6604 to reserve your spot today. 2. Pumpkin Carving Demo at Fountaindale Public Library

Get a head start on your pumpkin carving this year at the .

Participants will learn the basics of carving a punpkin, and families will receive a small pumpkin and pumpkin patterns to take home.

The event is for those ages 10 and up, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Refreshments will be served.

Registration is required.
