2. City of Hope 'Serve the City Community Festival' is Today

Head on over to Central Park (201 Recreation Drive) for the second annual , hosted by City of Hope. The festival, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature games, inflatables, face painting, popcorn, health screening, hot dogs and much more.

The event is free and open to the public.

5. Learn of Literature While Juggling

Chris Fascione, a unique educational entertainer, will be at the Bolingbrook Park District's Annerino Community Center today at 2 p.m.

Fascione brings the world of literature to life with his unique combination of storytelling, mime, juggling, and clowning! The audience gets involved as he acts out stories, poems, and folktales.

The event is free and no registration or tickets are required. All ages are welcome.
