Library Holds Movie Marathon to Celebrate Final Harry Potter Movie

The Fountaindale Public LIbrary will show all seven Harry Potter films starting today leading up to the final Potter movie on Friday.

To celebrate the release of the final installment of the Harry Potter series—Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II—the  will host a Harry Potter Movie Marathon for all the Potter fanatics.

The three-day event begins today and runs through July 15. The library will show two movies per day, the first movie beginning each day at 2:30 p.m. — Friday's first showing will begin at 1:45 p.m.

According to the library's website, the movies will run back-to-back with a brief intermission between movies.

  • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (starts at 2:30 p.m.)
  • Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Wednesday, July 13

  • Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (starts at 2:30 p.m.)
  • Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Thursday, July 14

  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (starts at 2:30 p.m.)
  • Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Friday, July 15

  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I (starts at 1:45 p.m.)
