Naperville 2013 Ribfest Tickets Now On Sale

This year's Ribfest will take place Wednesday, July 3 through 7 in Naperville's Knoch Park.

Tickets are now on sale for Naperville's biggest summer festival. 

This year's Ribfest will take place Wednesday, July 3 through 7 in Naperville's Knoch Park and tickets are currently available online for an early bird special of $12 or can be purchased at the gate for $15 when the fest begins.

The 26th annual Ribfest will have plenty of family activities, live music and 13 rib vendors from across the country. All proceeds from Ribfest go to support the elimination of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence, according to the Exchange Club of Naperville. 

Former Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash performs live at Ribfest Friday, July 5. Slash joins other headliners including Styx on July 3, Casey James and Love and Theft on July 4, Rick Springfield on July 6 and Lynyrd Skynyrd on July 7. Tickets are date specific and can be purchased at www.ribfest.net.

On July 4, Ribfest will host its annual fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. The park will open for free at 7:30 p.m. on July 4 for anyone who would like to attend the fireworks display. 

Over the past 26 years, $13M has been donate from Ribfest proceeds to over 50 local agencies who are working for the elimination of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence.

Children 11 and under are free with a paying adult. Tickets give patrons access to the park, including the carnival area, family area, food vendors and the musical entertainment.  

Tickets for all Ribfest entertainment are available at www.ribfest.net. July 4 through 7 tickets will be available at the gate only from noon to 3 p.m. for Family Fun Time for $10 per person. During that time the carnival will offer at Mega Pass for $10 per person for unlimited rides, carnival ticket sales will end one hour before the end of the offer. Rib vendors will have a special rib dinner offer also during the Family Fun Time.

The Exchange Club is a national group of men and women working as volunteers to make our community a better place through its primary mission, the Prevention of Child Abuse, and through local community service projects. The club organizes fundraising activities such as Ribfest over the Fourth of July and promote Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities and to Prevent Child Abuse and Domestic Violence.
